The Field Forensics THUNDERBIRD Series IV EOD Suit has evolved over years of trials and development through our partner company, Holdfast Protection in South Africa, whose active and intensive blast testing program gives us significant insight as to how our products are performing. Historically, the EOD Suit design has fallen into one of two versions; either a suit with heavy protection but with restricted mobility or one with improved mobility but achieved at the expense of protection.

Outer fabric: according to customer specification but standard is flame retardant Nomex Ballistic protection: Aramid fabric, several layers Front Protection: armor plates incl. collar protector Helmet: Fragment Protection Helmet, including communication and helmet ventilation system.
